Ty Mynydd Lodge is a family run bed & breakfast with an additional self-catering holiday home. We are approximately 4 miles from Cardiff City Centre, with excellent transport links. The original Lodge building was the gatehouse to Ty Mynydd, which was the summer home of the family of the world famous children's author, Roald Dahl.
Radyr village is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the M4. Ty Mynydd Lodge is on the main road through the village and has excellent bus and train links into the city centre.
Our location is North Cardiff, which enables great access to major link roads including the A470 and is a great base to visit local attractions including the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Bay and the Brecon Beacons.
Ty Mynydd Lodge
The orginal part of the Lodge is almost 100 years old. The building was extended which has created new living spaces and enabled us to create guest bedrooms. We are a family of four and we live in Ty Mynydd Lodge with our friendly cat!
